CANBERRA, Feb 20 AAP - Federal MPs were pessimistic today about the survival of Governor-GeneralPeter Hollingworth, who is under pressure over claims of a child abuse cover-up whilehe was Archbishop of Brisbane.

Tasmanian Labor MP Harry Quick said Dr Hollingworth's future needed to be decided todayand predicted Prime Minister John Howard would make him resign or sack him as a distractionfrom the children overboard affair.
