Qld: Pub robber spotted in territory
The search for a man who held up and robbed an outback pub in western Queensland hasswitched to the Northern Territory.
Police say the man burst through the doors of the Blue Heeler pub at Kynuna in westernQueensland on Thursday and threatened the pub owner before taking money and cigarettes.
They say the man fled the scene in a stolen metallic blue land cruiser.
The search switched to Tennant Creek in the Northern Territory today when a local residentreported seeing a man who matched the robber's description.
Police say checks of the area have failed so far to find the man.
