WA: Man shot dead in doorway of his home

PERTH, Feb 27 AAP - A man has died in an execution-style killing on the doorstep of
his home in Perth.

The 30-year-old mechanic was shot several times at close range after he answered a
knock on the door at his home in the northern Perth suburb of Mirrabooka on Friday night.

The man's father and six-year-old nephew were at home at the time.

After he was shot, the man is believed to have crawled to a bedroom in order to prevent
his nephew from seeing his blood-soaked body.
